AsiaCharm is, first and foremost, a platform for single people to meet and chat. It doesn’t limit your circle to mutual matches or those suggested by a sophisticated algorithm. Instead, you’re free to set up your profile and explore others. Once you find someone interesting, you can talk, exchange photos and videos, swap gifts, and use other AsiaCharm tools to build relationships.

One of the main goals of our AsiaCharm site review is to highlight how it compares to other platforms you’ve seen in our mail order bride site reviews. What makes AsiaCharm special? A few noteworthy features come to mind after our extensive test of the website.

Newsfeed

The first time you come across the Newsfeed, you’ll feel like you’ve accidentally opened your Instagram feed. The main difference is that every girl on AsiaCharm is single and looking for dates. Some ladies post selfies; others publish their latest culinary experiments or landscapes. If you like a particular picture, give it a thumbs up and check out the girl’s profile to see if she could make a good match for you.

Newsfeed is free for all AsiaCharm users, and it was the highlight of our experience. Fair warning: it’s as addictive as Instagram because it’s too easy to get sucked in.

People

This tab works similarly to Tinder and other popular dating apps. AsiaCharm will show you a photo, which you can either like or skip. If you like her picture, the woman will get notified, and she can like you in turn. It’s a neat way to discover potential matches without using search filters and gauge mutual attraction without wasting credits.

Unlike mainstream apps, AsiaCharm not only lets you view profile details but also allows you to send a wink or follow a girl. You can even send a message immediately without waiting for a mutual like.

We are a bit unclear on the algorithm used to suggest matches. It’s also impossible to tell if you can still contact the women you skipped over, but they are displayed in the general search results. Despite these minor issues, the People tab is pretty handy, especially if you don’t like using standard search filters.

Live chat/mail

Of course, we couldn’t ignore the core of other AsiaCharm reviews—its texting tools. You can access it directly from a member profile, switching between chat and mail, which is pretty convenient. There are also subtle reminders about the cost of each message. 

We found that nine out of ten girls responded to our chat invitations, and we received responses to four out of five letters we sent out. So, the response rate is pretty decent. On the other hand, dealing with the time difference can be taxing, especially if the ladies don’t speak English well. You might prefer to use mail to save time and give the girls more opportunities to work out what they wish to say.

Our only complaints are stock “Say hello” messages and stickers. The former are charged like standard chat (2 credits/minute), and the latter cost 5 credits/each. Considering they bring zero value to the conversations, we suggest skipping them altogether.

Real and virtual gifts

We didn’t get the chance to test the virtual and real gifts, but we were glad to see the option on AsiaCharm. Virtual gifts were available for all ladies and ranged from affordable to outrageously priced. As far as we could tell, virtual gifts were nothing but a way to show your appreciation.

In contrast, a flower and gift delivery service isn’t an option for every girl. The gift catalog covers all the basics, from flowers and chocolates to perfume, makeup, and electronics. The prices are pretty steep, so you should be 100% sure the girl is worth it before splurging on one of the gift options. At least the girls make it easier by creating wishlists to guide your choice.

AsiaCharm is a freemium dating site with credit-based payments, like many of the top mail order bride sites we’ve tested.

Suppose you purchase 750 credits for $149.99. That should buy you over six hours of live chat (around two weeks of daily 30-minute chats). Alternatively, you can send and open around 40 letters, view 75 photos, or watch 15 videos. Depending on how active you are on AsiaCharm, your monthly spending can range from $150 to $450.

Profiles quality: AsiaCharm user base review

We have mixed feelings about AsiaCharm profiles. On the one hand, they are definitely perfect for visual guys who love scrolling through gorgeous photos. Most profiles include at least five public shots, and girls like Rochelle tease potential matches with private pictures as well. Besides, there’s a photo feed at the bottom of each profile with recent shots, which go a long way to prove the daters are real.

Blue verification badges were another positive in our books, as was the option to have gifts delivered to some ladies. We took it as a sign that the girl shared her address, which served as added proof of her being a real person.

On the other hand, most profiles are light on personal details. The bio is usually a couple of sentences long, and the basics include only age, country, relationship status, occupation, and a few interests. Those are barely enough to start a meaningful dialog.

We also noticed some women did not put any effort into their feeds, reusing the same ten shots repeatedly. That seemed like a warning sign to us, so we suggest scrolling through personal feeds to ensure they are recent and free of constant repeats.

So, is AsiaCharm legit? Judging by what we saw across most profiles, it’s a legitimate Asian dating site with real women looking for companionship.

How to use AsiaCharm?

Now that we’ve covered the main features and pricing let’s see how you can leverage AsiaCharm to meet potential matches. 

Registration process

• Create a new email for AsiaCharm login and think of a strong password.
• Use Google signup to skip the personality quiz (Press Log In > Sign in with Google).
• Confirm your email to score 20 bonus credits.

Even if you decide to go through the standard AsiaCharm sign up, complete with a quiz, registration shouldn’t take more than five to ten minutes. The website will automatically take you to the search page.

Profile creating

• Include at least five photos in different outfits and locations.
• Add private photos to get potential matches excited to see more of you.
• Avoid cliches, and try to sound like yourself when you fill out the bio.
• Verify your profile, if possible, to get it noticed faster.

Don’t be tempted to skip the standard questions about interests and hobbies. These tidbits are vital for gauging compatibility and use as conversation starters. Besides, asking the women who contact you about your interests will help you learn if they paid any attention to your profile.

Searching for potential matches

• Switch to “All” in the search tab to find ladies who aren’t online at the same time you are.
• Try liking and skipping in the “People” tab to gauge mutual interest.
• Be generous with likes and follows in the Newsfeed.
• Start following potential matches as soon as you join AsiaCharm.

A basic AsiaCharm search doesn’t narrow down the dating pool much, considering it only has age and country filters, so we suggest experimenting with other options. Newsfeed and People tabs are especially helpful if you don’t have a type and wish to explore potential matches organically.

Communication with matches

• Consider the time difference when choosing between chat and letters.
• Review profiles carefully before responding to chat invites or mail.
• Do not click on photos or videos from random AsiaCharm users.

Most AsiaCharm scam complaints stem from guys who can’t control their spending. Remember that every message comes at a price, and look for the most cost-effective solutions. For example, sending out letters with your photos and detailed descriptions of your personality and relationship goals is the cheapest way to introduce yourself to multiple ladies.

And we urge you to be extra careful when using chat and mail windows. AsiaCharm will automatically charge your balance when you click on a photo or a video, even if you do it by mistake.
