A good thing about Love Fort is that it has an extensive database of Latin singles and over 95% of profiles are verified. Also, the strong suit of the dating site is in the variety of communication methods: chat, mail, photo exchange, Let’s Talk, Say Hello, and photo/audio/video messaging. That’s more than enough for the member’s satisfaction and comfortable online dating experience.

Probably the most important part of our Love Fort review is testing all the features for their quality and convenience. As members don’t have access to the features before joining, use our experience as your personal guide.

Search

When you start online dating, the first thing you do is search for women of your type. Love Fort has a classic search tool with filters for that. If you, for example, prefer young Colombian women, you can change the filters and tailor the member base. However, we think that filters are not detailed enough, and it would be good if there were more options like relationship status, interests, smoking/drinking habits, and other things that can be deal-breakers for a relationship in real life.

People

Those members who don’t have a particular type can just browse profiles or make it a bit fun and match interactively on People. This feature makes LoveFort dating faster and more intriguing. This feature works well, and it’s cool that you can not just like or skip but also send a wink, follow, or start chatting immediately.

Newsfeed

This is a unique feature that is not common for the same niche dating sites. It can be a great way to find people you are interested in and keep up with members you like. Newsfeed is an on-site social media where members post photos with captions. We’d say that around 60% of Love Fort users regularly post to Newsfeed.

Live chat

The first communication method we tested was regular text chat. And that’s the feature that we used the most, as during our Love Fort review, we chatted with over 50 women.

What we found interesting about the chat service on the Love Fort site is that it has a lot of built-in features, like:

• Winks. It is mostly used to show interest in communication with a particular user.
• Say Hello. That’s a cool feature that gives options for starting a conversation.

Also, the interesting thing about mail is that letters are timed, and they are immediately deleted from your inbox after expiration.

It’s great that pricing is clear, and with a credit system, members pay only for the services they actually use without exorbitant fees. But not all the features on Love Fort are paid. Standard members can use those services for free:

Knowing free and paid services is good, but we notice that not many reviews show prices in dollars but stick just to credits. That can be quite confusing, as it’s hard to understand if LoveFort.com is the same rip-off as other dating services or not.

To help you, we prepared an estimate of services and costs for communication on the site for a week:

• To meet someone special, you need to chat with at least 5 ladies, let’s say for 15 min—it costs 150 credits, aka $24
• After meeting your woman (or man), you’ll want to send messages for around 30 minutes a day, which costs 420 credits, aka $67.2
• Also, you’ll want to send 2-3 photos—20-30 credits, aka $3,2-$5.22
• You’ll want to send, on average, a mail per week, which costs 10 credits for the first, aka $1.6, and 30 credits for the next, aka $4.8

The total for a week is around $100. However, it’s important to understand that your total can be different depending on how long and what services you want to use.

Compared to the top dating sites in this niche, the cost of services is mid-range. It’s good that members see all the details about prices, as it gives a sense of control.

Profiles quality — Love Fort user base review

Another important part of our LoveFort review was exploring members’ profiles. It’s not a secret that scammers like to create fake accounts and make empty promises to steal your private information or get money. And unfortunately, no dating service can guarantee 100% safety.

To show you the quality of the average member’s profile, we want to take a look at two examples down below.

The first profile that we want to show is an example of a high-quality dating profile. This woman is one of the validated members, with many profile pictures and filled sections.

We also liked that this user’s profile is informative and has a variety of photos from different locations and angles. So, no questions arise about whether photos are fake.

Another reason to trust this profile is regular updates to the NewsFeed, which is like on-site social media. Fake profiles rarely generate content regularly and try to put in minimal effort. 

So, Valentina’s profile seems legit, as do the vast majority of the members. As over 95% of users undergo a verification procedure, so finding someone suspicious is hard. This is a good sign, as Love Fort clearly doesn’t tolerate scam.

However, we found one verified profile that had some red flags. We can’t state that it’s one of the fake profiles, but we didn’t like that there are not many photos added to the profile, and they are very similar.

The information section is fine, but the Interested In section is not very specific.

Another red flag of the profile is not having any posts to the Newsfeed, which is really rare for the site, as most members are very active.

So, is LoveFort legit or a total scam? Having 1, 2, 3, or even up to 10% fake profiles is considered great results in the niche, as long as other users are real and active. It’s hard to give an exact number, but we’d say that around 2% of female accounts get suspicion.

It’s also important to note that the technical support on the site does a great job of moderating. But, as always, we want to emphasize that it is crucial to read professional dating site reviews before joining.
