We carefully reviewed not only the features but also the member’s profiles. Most of them are detailed and, most importantly, verified. There are quite many profiles of excellent quality—here’s an example of such a personal page.

As you can see, there are the following sections:

• A bio written by a member — usually, it’s not too long yet useful self-description
• Profile photo and public photos — in most cases, there are at least 5 public pictures
• Secret photos — if any, access is automatically unlocked after you start a conversation with this user
• Basic details — interests, background, personality traits
• Posts — all the publications shared on the site (basically, you have access to the posts’ history)

It’s not so easy to find OrchidRomance fake accounts, but there are lower-effort pages like this one. 

As you can see, unlike the previous member, this user does not so many photos, a shorter bio, and most importantly, no posts at all. We’d recommend focusing on members with better profiles or at least asking for additional information, photos, and videos in private conversations.

How to use OrchidRomance?

Every good platform for dating and communication is a separate ecosystem with its rules, processes, and stages of interactions. We decided to analyze them all in detail, and we share our most important findings below.

Registration process

The registration process consists of a few main stages:

1. Filling in the registration form. If you’re going to join this online dating community, you only need to browse the official website and find the registration form. It will be the first thing that you’ll see, actually. Only basic details must be shared. You need to enter a valid email address (it’s your OrchidRomance login) and name (it doesn’t have to be real), select your date of birth, indicate your gender, and create a password. There’s no need to share your phone number or financial information. 
2. Taking a quiz. After you fill in the form, you’ll be redirected to the quiz page. There’ll be multiple questions, all divided into two main categories—questions about you and about your potential partner.  You’ll need to share some standard details like your height, weight, occupation, religion, etc., as well as some interesting information like guilty pleasures or your previous experience of using online dating sites. 
3. Writing a bio and adding a photo. These are the final steps you’ll need to take to have a competitive profile. You can write a custom bio and add a profile photo. Once you do it, you’ll see a few suggested matches. You can like some of them or just proceed to the site.

The entire process takes 10-15 minutes on average. There are a few main ways to find interesting people on OrchidRomance.com:

• By using the People feature. As we’ve mentioned previously, this is quite an effective feature, and it seems that the people you can see on the People page are suggested by the site’s algorithms. The principle of its work is as simple as possible. You just see profiles, browse them if necessary, and like members or skip profiles to see the next potential matches.
• By visiting the Search page. This is the page with profiles of your best potential matches. You can sort the profiles by certain criteria like age, location, gender, online/offline status, and more. 
• By viewing posts on the Newsfeed. You can also go to the Feed page and see random posts shared by other users. If you like someone, you can go to their profile and get more information about the member. 

There are many interesting search features, but we definitely missed a standard extended search feature that would allow us to apply multiple filters and see the best matches only. 

Communication with matches

Generally speaking, there are two main ways to interact with others:

1. By having a live chat. There’s a great online messenger that you can see right under a member’s bio on every personal page. 
2. By sending a Mail. A Mail is basically an email—a long letter of up to 3,000 characters each.

Also, there are the additional features you can use on OrchidRomance.com:

• The Say Hello feature. If you don’t know how to start a conversation, you can choose one of the standard messages. They will be cheaper than custom messages.
• Exchange of media files. It’s available to both those who prefer instant messaging and those who usually send Mails. There are some custom emojis and stickers, too. 
• Virtual gifts. As we’ve noted previously, you can use them to get the attention of the person you really like and who’s obviously popular on the site. Some members may send such gifts to someone they are already dating.
