PinaLove is free to join, like all dating sites today. It’s also free to set up your profile and to upload a photo, as well as to use search filters and browse profiles. You can even send messages for free here (but not too often and not to everyone). Unfortunately, Matchmaking tools are unavailable, but the search tool is so good you’ll definitely find a match here, especially if you’re a premium user (premium users have more search filters). Premium members can also send messages without any limits, hide their profiles, and so on.

PinaLove features review 

This website isn’t the most advanced one regarding its selection of premium features. Let’s be honest, it doesn’t have such features as video and voice calls, gift delivery, and so on.

But still, there are some features worth mentioning here. And they’re probably even more interesting than voice calls or gifts.

Free messaging

Yes, you can send messages for free here. Yes, it’s a very popular dating app with verified profiles—and you can still send messages for free here. 

There are limits, of course. Thus, standard (non-premium) users can only send 1 message every 10 minutes, so you probably won’t be able to have a lively discussion in a chat. And, of course, you can’t just sign up and start chatting with the ladies—you’ll have to verify your photos first because only verified users can enjoy free messaging on PinaLove.

And that’s not all. Free users can’t send messages to all the other members: when it comes to the so-called “Popular Members”, it’s only premium users who can contact them. They don’t explain who these “Popular Members” are, but to us, it looks like it’s the top 1% or 2% of members getting the most emails from other users.

We should also highlight that the messages from premium users appear higher in the Inbox than the messages from standard users. 

But still, even with all those limits, it’s a real dating app with free messaging. That’s something extremely rare today.

Show Interest

You can also “Show Interest” to other users. In this case, they will see a notification, their profile will be added to your Favorites list, and they’ll probably send you a message. But again, it’s necessary to verify your profile in order to get access to this feature. 

“Play”

You can also play games on the PinaLove dating site. Well, it’s not the most complex game, to be honest—you will see random profiles, and you’ll be able to hide them, like them, or send them a message. It’s also free.

Anonymous browsing

If you don’t want other people to watch your photos and read your bio, you need to purchase a premium subscription. Premium users on Pinalove can hide their profiles from searche and hide their join date.

Pricing & value for money 

This site has a premium membership system, it’s simple and easy to understand. Some say it’s not as transparent as a credit-based system, but we’ve double-checked everything, and it doesn’t look like there will be hidden payments on Pinalove. We had 0 problems with that. 

So, there are 4 available options here:

• 1 month — $25 
• 3 months — $50 
• 6 months — $70 
• 12 months — $120 

So, as you see, if you pay for 12 months at once, 1 month will only cost you $10, and if you pay monthly, it’s going to cost you $25. The benefits are obvious.

But as you already know, it’s not necessary to pay immediately. Here’s the list of the free features on PinaLove:

• Profile browsing
• Sending messages (1 per 10 minutes, only for verified users)
• Showing interest (only for verified users)
• Basic search filters 
• Standard users can see who visited their profile 

What about the paid features? Does it make sense to pay at all?

19 out of 20 for pricing, and this paragraph is the best explanation why the rating is so high. If you can chat without any limits with any girl on a site for only $25/month, such a site definitely deserves 19 points.

Profiles quality—PinaLove user base review

When it comes to the quality of profiles… See for yourself:

These are two random girls with good profiles. Bad profiles look very similar, they just have fewer photos. You see, the profiles here are… average, so to speak? Some girls post 10+ pictures and even say a few words about their preferences and interests. But in most cases, they only have several low-quality pictures, and that’s all. 

Some of them are even verified (like the first girl from the picture), but still, the quality of profiles is definitely not the biggest reason why this site is worth a try. It’s ok, it’s not that bad, but it’s certainly not perfect.

So when people ask questions like “Is Pinalove legit?” or “Are these women real?” we can’t give a clear answer. Yes, we didn’t see any obviously fake accounts here, and we didn’t meet any scammers on this site, so it’s probably legit. But we can also say with confidence that there are many websites with a higher profile quality.

But of course, those websites would cost you much more than PinaLove—say, 10-15 times more. 

How to use PinaLove 

Let’s continue our PinaLove review—now, we’re going to tell you how to sign up on this site, how to search for the ladies, and how to chat.

Registration process

The registration process here is simple and pretty standard: you enter your email, then you enter the login code from your email, and it’s done. They’ll ask you several questions and offer you to upload a photo during the registration, but it’s up to you—you can skip all this and return later. 

Profile creation

What is PinaLove? It’s a dating site. And even though Filipino women do really love American men and the reply rate here is higher than on any Western dating app, there are still some rules you have to follow.

And the main rule is: your profile must be perfect. Setting up your profile will not take more than 5 minutes but the benefits are obvious: you will get more messages, more girls will see your profile, you’ll get more matches, and you’ll be able to send free messages, as well as use the “Show Interest” feature (it’s only available to profiles with a verified photo). 

Searching for potential matches

Click Search, choose the search filters, find a match, it’s simple. Remember that premium users have access to a much wider selection of filters. When you open a profile, you can add a note (only you can see it), add it to your favorite list, show interest, and start chatting (the last 2 options are only available to verified users).

Communication with matches 

There’s only one messaging tool which is the main reason why PinaLove got only 12 points for communication features from us. However, it’s not that bad. It’s convenient, it’s free (well, partially), and you can add photos and videos to your messages. 

Customer support

The support team on Pinalove is great. They’re real professionals, they know how to fix problems, they are very friendly, and they have an FAQ section that can offer fixes to the absolute majority of issues the users have with this site. The only problem is that there’s no live chat—you can only contact them via email, and although they respond quite fast, you’ll still need to wait for 1 or 2 hours. 

Conclusion

PinaLove got 78 points out of 100 from our team, and it’s a very honest rating—we didn’t want to sugarcoat anything so we didn’t have to hide anything in this review. What we can say now is that this site is certainly worth a try. It’s incredibly cheap, it has free messaging, it has nice profiles (even if not all of them are detailed). There are some problems, too: for example, there’s only one messaging tool on this site. But these are not serious problems and if you’re looking for an affordable Asian dating app, you definitely should try PinaLove.
